I am a new member as of the 28 of Oct. Now i am going to pick somebrains and see if i can find a answer to my problems. I have no power to the lift pump on the engine and I can not find where it picks up the power from If the lift pump will not operate the engine will not start. It cranks easy but will not fire. Any help would be appreciated.

That is most likely powered by the ECM... Did you check with a meter across the two wires for 12vdc with someone else turning the key on?

You can remove the wires and use another 12v source just for the purposes of testing to make sure the pump will run on a seperate source. If it does, then in the vehicle's electronics bay you can find the relay that operates the pump - perhaps it's bad? Could be temporarily swapped with another one in there just to test.

I have never found a relay in the electrical compartment that says anything about lift pump or fuel relay. I did swap all the relays and still got nothing. tomorrow I am going to remove the ECM because the lift pump is behind the ecm and check it with someone turning the key on for me. Thank you for the answer. I will keep you. posted on what I find
