2006 Monaco Dynasty Diamond IV Washer/Dryer conversion

Hi there, we're looking at purchasing a 06 Monaco Dynasty Diamond IV and wanted to know if anyone knows or has converted their single Splendide Washer/Dryer to a double washer/dryer unit? Is there room on the backside for this? I noticed there's a angled area on the back left that runs all the way down. Any help is appreciated.

Our Dynasty has the stackables with the 220V dryer. In that back corner, there is a run of wires, but no plumbing. You may also have a vent tube running through that. I would not think it would be a large job to pull that angled piece out and see what is behind it. At the top of ours, there is a closed in shelf with a 30amp 220V load center and a little storage cubby hole. the only drawback to the setup is that the washer and dryer both run from that load center and only work on 50 Amp hookup. It will not work on 30 amp hookup. But we truly like the setup. Hope this may help, Happy trails, Bert

If you determine that you have room its no big deal. We have the 110 whirlpool dryer that works great. We can run ours on 30 amp. Just not at the same time. Measure your selected washer carefully front to back. Our whirlpool had a slight curve to the front door design. When we put it into our previous 5th wheel the door would not close because of the slates on door, thus requiring a change in door design. It fits perfectly in the MH.
Check where your dryer vent is. They put them in strange locations. You may need to install the dryer first. That makes getting the washer drain hose for washer in a challenge. Once the washer was in we couldn't reach behind the washer to clamp the drain hose in place. We actually added an 18" piece of rubber hose clamped on to the drain hose that made sure that the force of water wouldn't push it out. Make sure its not so long it hits the bottom of the gray tank.

I just took a peek at our stacked Bosch 220V W/D and there is no panel covering the back corner in the upper dryer area. I do see a nail head protruding, indicating that there was probably one there that was removed during installation. I don't think there is room for one without taking out that panel, they fit pretty tight in the corner. There are some electrical lines and speaker wires coming from the ceiling running down that corner. I cant get a look at the lower washer corner to see if any plumbing might be there.

THANK YOU for the great feedback. We're in the process of trading our Class A Gas to a DP and so I'm doing a bunch of front end reading and studying on the maintenance. We've been RV owners for a while but the DP end is a little new to us. Needless to say I'm deep into it now. I really love this site because I never knew there was a recall on the 400 Cummins engine from the 2006 model year till I read it on the forum. Thank God for the forum and you guys who participate in these discussions. This really helps.
