2007 Camelot city water valve replacement

I am in need of replacing my city water valve. I can only fill the tank and can't get city water directly through the valve. I would like to replace it with an original quality brass valve, not the new plastic one. Does anyone know where I can find one ?

Jim-

I believe the Watts part number for this was DFV-M1. After a brief search, I could not find a source to buy a new one, except for this site (which has signs it might not have the item, either).

Watts sells a 3-way valve that looks like the core of the DFV-M1. Link is here:

LFB6780-M1

"LF" in their part number scheme stands for "Lead Free," which implies why the DFV-M1 is no longer available (all non-lead-free products phased out). There appear plenty of places to buy the new unit.

Please don't take my word for whether or not the new unit can take the place of the old one; confirm for yourself.

You could always go for discrete valves, per this post and picture:

Jim,

I can't find the one I used on Amazon, but if your coach uses the same plumbing layout as mine, this should work:
https://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Valves...ustrial&sr=1-5

I found the one I used at Lowes or Home Depot. It's a simple 3 way brass ball valve (L port) with PEX fittings that I changed to match the diameter of the tubing, 1/2" IIRC.

HTH,

Sounds like the check valve may be stuck. It allows water to pressurize your system but also prevents water from coming out if the pump is on.

Mine would bypass and the pump would run so I changed mine and it solved the problem. This is what I bought
