2007 Monaco Camelot 40PDQ Drop In Hydraulic Filter

Hello,

My Hydraulic Oil Cooler needs to be replaced or repaired due to hairline leak in one of the welds. The welder is asking me to remove the cooler and bring it in to his shop. Since I am removing the cooler, I would like to change the three Drop In Hydraulic Oil Filter and the Dextron III ATF Fluid. I have been researching for the listed filter in the owner's manual CSG100P10A manufactured by MP Filtri. For some reasons, the search came up with a spin-on filters (as opposed to drop in). I can't find the drop in filter with the CSG100P10A part number.

Did anybody in the group have similar issue as mine? If so, where did you purchase the drop in filters? Is there a replacement part number for this?

Another question is Dextron III vs. Dextron VI. The manual recommends Dextron III. Can I use Dextron VI since it is available in my local Walmart.

I attached pictures of the reservoir and copy of the manual.

If the cooler cannot be repaired, does anybody know where I can buy the hydraulic oil cooler? There is no part number in the manual for the cooler and there is no markings in the cooler as well.

I would appreciate any direction I could get from the group.

Thanks....

The filter you need is a Nelson Filter number 84101B -- You will need 3 of them -- About the size of a soda can & they just stack on top of each other -- I would also replace the gasket for the lid -- That number is 999-55A

Crap is that tiny porosity speck/pinhole leaking. I wonder if paint had it plugged when it was factory tested.

I was waiting for input to the Dexron III vs VI as my manual says to use Dex III only. I ended up getting Dexron III at O'Reillys.

Many owner's use Valvoline Max-life synthetic it's #1 seller and inexpensive. There's no friction clutch discs ect. in system, Dex5 would be fine IMHO, Others used Transyn type to have same fluid as their Allison trans. It's being used like Hydraulic fluid . Dex3 might be a little thicker cold, once hot synthetic might be a little better. Never going to see abuse it would in a trans.
