Contitech AS 8897 find it parts $121 free shipping or Firestone 9376 $175 (has 1/4 pipe thread) or Firestone 8897 (has 3/4 pipe thread). Contitech AS 8897 has 3/4 pipe thread. Can be used front or rear. Use 1/4 by 3/4 reducer bushing for rear. Other part number for Contitech is 64664.

Front bags Removal:
1 Ό wrench & Large Crescent - remove air nut first
1 1/8 Socket & Flex ratchet remove fitting (fitting will not fit through the 1 1/8 hole)
Ύ Socket remove two upper and two lower nuts last & remove bag
Drill hole to at least 1 Ό and fitting wont have to be removed for installation or for the next removal. Roadmaster made the holes 1 1/8".
I haven't had the privilege of removing the rear bags yet.

air bag
On the front air bags. If you can't remove the flare fitting with the bag in place(I could not) it can be forced through the hole in the upper mounting plate. Not easy but it can be done. It takes about two large screwdrivers, two tire irons and a couple of big pinch bars. When you get the bag out you can remove the fitting. That took a 1 1/8 socket and a 3/4 dr. breaker bar. Grind the corners off the hex so they go back in easy. Suggestions for tools: stubby 3/4 combo, stubby 3/8 ratchet, short 1 1/4 open end (about 6") for hose connections, 3/4 deepwell.
I did one rear bag in the desert North of Yuma (BLM).I did the other nine bags at home in the drive way. 2005 Signature. It is a workout. Good luck. Mike.

WOW!
I have a 1/2" ratchet which has a flex head and is around 2' long which did the trick one click at a time. It was a workout.

Do you have access to a cross reference chart covering Monaco coaches? I was looking recently to find where I could get a spare bag or bags for my coach. Contacted Firestone and they could not tell me.... said to remove the bag and look to find a part number.

No, I don't think that a cross reference sheet exists. I ordered an air bag from Veurink's, sent them vin info, year etc. I guess will see if I get the right part. I'll post when my mechanic tries to put it on. I do know that REVparts sent 4 air bags that the mechanic for Cummins Total Care put on, but they were really expensive. I couldn't reference their part number with anything. Looking out there for a bag that will fit at a good price, as I need to order 3 more.

Using your advice I pried the fitting through the hole on one air bag today. I used a long crow bar. This was the easy one, I'll try the others tomorrow. Wow what a time saver!
