2007 Monaco interior light issue

I've searched the forums and everyone seems to have all or nothing interior light issues. I'm having "zone" issues. From back to front: closet lights work, bedroom lights are very dim, bathroom lights work fine, kitchen/living room lights are very dim, lights over cab/driver/passenger area work fine.

Batteries are all newer and charging. All 120 outlets, fridge, AC, microwave etc work fine.

Unplugged from shore power, same problem.

If it's a bad ground why would it only affect half my lights? The distribution panel in the back should all be grounded equally.

Im not sure where to look next. Thanks in advance

Bedroom and kitchen/living are on separate panels in closet so can't believe both went out.

Only thing electrically I've done is install a new AC unit.

I have 2 switches for bedroom lights, one is a dimmer switch by the bed and one is on/off as you enter bedroom, the dimmer switch dims for on/off.

Not sure if you have a hidden fuse panel I have one behind my info center cabinet front is hinged pops open . Maybe daisy chain of pos and neg wires that would be at each light has a bad crimp or break.

Doesn’t your coach use the Intellect multiplex systems to control the lighting

The lights that are dim, try holding the button in a few seconds. See if the dimmers increase.

Yep that multiplex system is scary at first but the more I work with it the more I understand and think it’s not as scary to work with as first though. Now that’s scaring me

Occasionally I will press and hold a light button for a couple of seconds to see if it gets brighter or dimmer. As you hold the button in, it will go brighter in noticeable increments until it reaches the maximum, then it will increment back down. I let it go "over the peak", then let up and then press again to get it back to the peak brightness. Like you said, it can wind up dimmer without really realizing we've done it.

I could see that if it was one light but it was two lights in. the bedroom and at least 6 lights in the living/dining/kitchen area. Was weird but fixed now
