2007 Monaco Signature Ceiling Lamp Replacement

Does anybody know how to replace the halogen bulb in the lamps that are located in the decorative fixture in the ceiling? I have these same fixtures in the salon area and the kitchen. I figured out how to get the fixture out, but can't figure how to get the bulb out.

Would appreciate some advice, since I don't want to damage anything.

Take a knife and pop out the silver ring, at the gold junction... you do not need to remove the entire fixture. Glass and silver ring will come out. The best China LEDs ($1.13 each) are G4 12 5050SMD bulbs in daylight (pure or 5000 temp) which draw 1/10th the current.
Search EBay for “ 10X G4 DC 12V 5050 SMD 6/9/12 LED Car Boat Light Pure/Warm White Round Bulb Lamp”

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately for me the butter knife didn't work. What I did is took a small jewelers screw driver and went through one of the heat vent holes in the back of the fixture and pushed the lens out. I only go to this point after marring up the trim ring really good. You would figure that the product designers would have placed some sort of indent where you could slide a tool into it and pop out the ring.

But regardless,, thanks for the help.

Much different than my Exec, the ring twists and lens falls out.

I'm thinking I use a small screwdriver but can make that today's project and let you know as I have 6 LED's to replace. Speaking of LED's, in your coach the dimming feature that most every light in the coach has is controlled by PWM Dimming (Pulse Width Modulation). That means the voltage sent to the bulb is always 12.8 volts and dimmed by sending pulses of power rather than lowering the voltage. LED's may start flickering when dimmed which is why I am changing some to a better quality LED in hopes of eliminating that.

Those are probably guaranteed to flicker when dimmed in his PWM dimmed coach.

The bottom photo you posted, with a small blade I pried the center silver part out enough to use my fingernails to remove it thus exposing the bulb.

Nope, dim without flickering with multiplex.
