Dash problem

I have a 2006 Sig Conquest with the same engine, yes after selecting ignition start the dash system does through a preprogrammed self-test of all devices connected to the engine, they all do, since it is not, the power to dash or engine is missing (12VDC) a good question nobody asked yet is does the coach start at all? If not there is a power supply issue, if yes the 12DC is missing to the dash, to my knowledge if no power to dash engine won't start!

If you can travel I would recommend a trip back to the birth place of your coach. We took ours to Elite RV in Harrisburg, OR. Mark, Marty, and Erik all worked for Monaco and know these coaches inside and out. Plus they have connections with other shops like Source Engineering (chassis and suspension), Mackin Street Customs and RV (Head of paint for Monaco) Once again former Monaco engineers and employees. We were so glad to have learned of them from this forum and they gave us extreme confidence in keeping our bus running at peak performance. Randy

An excellent source of information for you would be to contact Oregon Motor Coach in Eugene. They are all former Monaco and Country Coach techs and engineers. Brad is Service Manager. I have 06 Signature and mine goes through the same routine at ignition on. This is a system check and reset procedure from what i am told. I got a fault on my cruise control last week and by shutting down the engine going through the start routine the fault cleared and no further problems.

I saw a lot of posts mentioning Grid heaters - however I don't believe the big engines (450hp up) use heaters.
I know the big Cat engines don't use them. Once the engines get over 12L displacement they are not used/needed.

The Detroit doesn't have grid heaters either.
