2008 Ambassador

Looking to purchase a 2008 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. Coach has the RR8R chassis. Has anyone here installed a Roadmaster brand steering stabilizer on the RR8R. If so how does it perform? I installed this stabilizer on a W22 Workhorse with excellent results. It probably saved me and my family when a truck slid sideways right in front of our MH. I was able to keep control of the coach and steer out of trouble. Before I installed the steering stabilizer the coach was hard to keep between the lines....Thanks. I would appreciate your comments.

We have 08 Monaco Knight, same model as your HR Amb. We had no problems with steering issues, but We did install a Safe T Plus mainly for front end blow out protection. It did help in windy conditions, but there is a little more steering wheel resistance.

Do some searching for this thread. It will keep you busy for a few nights.

Check out monacowatts.com for products specifically made for the road-master chassis.

The bottom line is if you drive it and it drives well, be off and have fun. If it does not and you want improvement there are solutions.
