2008 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Quality

I currently have a 2005 Fleetwood Bounder 38N with a the C7. Overall we’ve enjoyed the Bounder. I was not necessarily looking to upgrade. I’ve come across a couple of Holiday Ramblers online that peaked my interest. Any owners of a 2008 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 40SKP? Obviously step or two above my Bounder. What is the vent on the driver side rear basement door. Couldn’t figure out since it’s not a side radiator. What do you like/dislike about the coach? Thoughts on ride quality with eight airbags? Thanks.

Check out this link. Maybe half way down the page, you'll find a download for that coach.

It would be interesting to see a picture of the vent. I'm at a loss to suggest what it might be, if I heard you right that it is integrated into the rear basement door.

It is the A/C condenser.

I’ve got an 08 Diplomat with the 8 bags and I feel like it rides pretty well. No complaints.

Best to you.

Thanks! It’s the second to last basement door. See pic.

And if it's like my Monaco Knight, the A/C door provides really easy access to the fuel filter and air dryer filter. I replaced the screws that hold the door shut with bolts and wing nuts so I can more easily get to this area.

And the hydraulic reservoir and valve manifold for the jacks if it has the 3 jack RVA JII system.

I have an 08 HR Endeavor and we love it! We have the SKQ model and really like the interior layout with the front kitchen and mid cabin living / television area.
I added front and rear anti sway bars, front and rear Watts Links and rear cross bar kits from Monaco Watts.... handles 100% better now than when I bought it.
Since my Cummins was manufactured in November 2006, it doesn’t have emission equipment on it which is a huge plus for me.

Nice to hear Sheriffbubba. Okay. Not sure I want to have to make suspension upgrades. Right now I can go 10-12 hours with no fatigue in my Bounder. I do like the look and features of the Endeaver.

I have an '03 HR and it has a vented panel on the drivers side rear door that hides the dash air conditioner condenser and fan. It does give a little access to the engine too.

Chuck-

Monaco/HR coaches of this era have slides that are prone to floor rot. If you should get interested in a particular coach, you'll want to inspect for that. See this link for details on one product ("Guardian Plates") offered to repair the problem.

Looks like the engine air intake, thats where mine is on my ‘98 Endeavor, the compartment gives access to the air filter.

We have an 08 PDQ and love it. It’s our 3rd coach so we have tried a few. It has its own quirks but all in all a great coach. Great ride, solid systems that can be fixed anywhere, good drive train and fair mileages
Good choice
