2008 Monaco Diplomat PDQ out side light

I would like to install a light on the curb side front slide. Anyone done this? Where did you find the power and where did you put the switch? Pictures would be nice.

Do you want a 12 volt light or 120 volt.

Do you have any overhead cabinets in the slide. Are there any outlets or lights in the cabinet?

All of my overhead cabinets, even in the slide, have false bottoms where the wires are run.

If you have wires then you should have power so you can spice into those circuits for power. Locating the light somewhere there there is a cabinet on the inside should give you a place to conceal the wires and connection. Should be able to put a switch somewhere, may even be a remote wireless switch option.

Just have to make sure any hole you put through the outside wall is properly sealed against the weather. If your attaching a light on the outside it should come with some sort of seal.
