2008 Monaco Dynasty Slide Stuck

Second issue, the drivers side living room slide TOP keeps getting stuck OUT when we try to bring it in. The bottom comes in fine but the top comes in about half way then stops making the slide tilt HUGE top to bottom. We tried leaning the coach towards the passenger side but it keeps getting stuck in the same place. Almost seems like something is holding it.

It worked fine last weekend.
I'm going to climb up on the roof to look under the slide awning to see if anything is obstructing it (it was pouring so I couldn't do it yesterday).
What would cause this?
Thank you,

Checking for an obstruction on the top is right start.

Check your rubber gaskets around the side and top on the outside. Look at the spacing before you retract. Are they both all the same distance, more or less?

Pull back those flaps and see the spacing.

Do you see any rub marks on the top or side about in the middle?

When you do retract, check again for the spacing and see.

Did you adjust the rollers under the slide?

Make sure your awning cover is retracting and rolling up properly as well.

My slides tilt some as they are coming in. I thought that was pretty normal. it always closes.

That is a flat floor slide that drops down when open. There are not any rollers under it. It reply’s on gravity to keep it from tilting when closing. The only cause that it can be is that it’s seeing too much resistance at the top somewhere. Would be best to remove the slide topper so you can get a good look. Close it until it just starts to tilt and look along The top side from the outside to see if you can find where it’s rubbing on the seal too aggressively

Also, I had this happen once. My slide had shifted slightly towards the front so the the mechanism that latches the top of the slide tightly when closed was catching on the side of the motorhome when closing causing the same tilting issue. I had to adjust the slide to shift it towards the rear some. This is easily done under the slide by shifting the mounts in the slots a bit

Slide shifted

Thanks for the help guys.
The slide shifted rearwards causing the top of the slide to rub extremely hard on the side of the slide. I looked under the slide to see if there is an adjustment but it looked like it was all incapsulated by a rectangle piece of metal with an end cap.
If I can find the adjustment should I loosen or tighten the side that that is rubbing?

Thanks again guys.

I hope you have this fix by now but there is a large bolt with a nut on each arm. They adjust the top in or out.
