Hello, my first contact with irv2.
Could someone please give me advise to correct a low water pressure problem in the coach. also there is an odor in the water I am hooked up to city water.
I filled the fresh water tank half way at home with our good well water.
I have never had this problem. It is the first time out since dewinterizing.
Driving to this location notices low pressure also when using the water pump.
Thank you.

Is it low at all the faucets and the toilet? If toilet pressure seems fine I would check the aerators at each faucet, there could be sediment in the screen. As for the water quality use the search button above and type in " how to sanitize fresh water tank". I think you mix one cup of bleach with each 40 gals. water. Drive around a bit and then let it sit 24 hrs. and drain. Run faucets till you no longer smell bleach. Oh by the way, hello and welcome from Michigan.

For low pressure from your 12v pump you need to check the inlet debris screen on the pump.
Did you do your own winterizing ? Blow the lines or use RV anti-freeze?
Is your coach equipped with a whole house water filter, debris screen on the city water hook up ; usually part of the washer assembly in the hose hook up.
Overall low pressure in the park may be part of your problems , have you talked with a neighbor about their pressure?

Glad to have you here with us. When you de-winterized your MH did you change your water filter? I chsnge mine every year more often if the water is hard or something gets into the filter. It's a cheap fix.

Welcome to the Forum and I would first sanitize your freshwater tank as was suggested. Be sure to follow what was also suggested by others. They all are good suggestions. We have a problem with our pressure when we hook up to city water but I believe it is the new water filter I just installed. But that didn't effect the freshwater pressure.
Good luck and if the suggestions didn't work just report back and I am sure someone will have an answer. Best of luck.

Hello all,
Please excuse me if I do not use the computer very well yet but I am really trying.
When you get up in years it is more difficult to pickup new ways.
It is very nice how so many came to help with my problem I am sure I will find the answer.
I look forward to talking with other rv folks as I am alone and will need help if I continue to use the coach.
Thank you again for your kindness,
Blueseal

Help & ideas are what the forums are all about ; and being of the generation that wasn't allowed to use those, new fangled calculators in school, I can relate to problems getting used to computer operation.
