2011 Monaco Knight hydraulic slide out problem.
Reciently the big living room slide out started coming in at a "crooked" angle. The aft end of the slide molding, inside, would begin to hit the adjacent cabinets while retracting. The forward end would be much closer when measuring, almost 5 inch difference.
I am not able to find any adjustments other than the three nuts on the two hydraulic ram shafts. I have had the aft ram rebuilt although there were no leaks. I have also replaced the hydraulic valve on the pump manifold.
Are there other adjustments I am not seeing? Is there a procedure for getting this much adjustment just using the exposed bolts?
I am able to push the aft part of the slide and influence it to come in as someone monitors the clearence from the inside. And, I can bring the slide in by myself by jostling the foreward portion and repeatedly working the switch; do this three times until the slide completely comes in straight. It is perplexing process.
Thank you. For any suggestions. I am surely not the first to have this problem.
