2012 Knight blue tooth/meda center
Hope everyone is loving life and enjoying your motorhomes, we are a fortunate lot!
My 2012 knight is giving me some challenges getting my iphone to work with the media center. I have an external Sirius radio that is fed into the av1 outlet on the front.
No problem getting phone to work with nothing playing. But with the Sirius playing my phone will ring but not transfer to the media center.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Denis

My guess is that your media center (your "radio") is programmed that way.
A. Listening to FM and a call comes in?....the "radio" allows bluetooth to override the FM.
B. Listening to a CD and a call comes in?...the "radio" allows bluetooth to override the CD.
C. But listen to anything that arrives at the "radio" via the front audio-input jack, the bluetooth call cannot override the audio jack.
Heh. It's the best I can do ... 'cause I'm not a teenager.

Thanks I figured it out and I am not a teenager, maybe emotionally :-0
My iphone was not automatically shifty to the coach's system, I had to manually select it. Not sure why as it works well in our other vehicles. But all I have to do is two clicks and it is on. I suspect there is a solution just need to find time to tinker.

Denis,
The cell phone and the base unit (radio or audio system, home-phone-base-unit, etc.) have settings that allow them to participate in Bluetooth either manually or automatically. This "option" is selectable within the menu settings. So like you say: "tinker" with it ... and you'll find a setting that is (at the moment) not "automatic".

I had so much trouble with the Magnadyne POS that I replaced it. Mine would not hold any presets, it always started in dim mode so you couldn't see it in the daylight, and since it is not mounted at the proper viewing angle I could barely see the display most of the time. I replaced it with a Kenwood DDX719 with adjustable viewing angle. Now I can aim the screen up so I can see it and all of the functions work. The only drawbacks to this unit are that there is no sound with the review camera and the side cameras are no longer connected. Since I didn't use either of these features it wasn't a problem for me.

They connect just like the rear camera and activate with the turn signal. The problem with them is that they are mounted in the convex mirrors and they are slow to respond. When I want to look beside me I look at the mirrors, much better view that the cameras. Where they are mounted the cameras are nothing more than a gimmick and completely worthless. One of these days I will replace the mirrors so the camera is not in taking up space in the mirror.
