2013 Diplomat Bed too high?

Really appreciate all the good info from everyone... Newbie to the forum looking for advice on the king bed height... seems very high to us and would like to lower it. Anyone know if this is possible, if so, how? Seems the platform houses the slide mechanism so there may not be much room there.

Thanks in advance!

My HR had the same problem........My DW had to make a running jump to get on the queen size bed in our "Gas powered" coach so I removed the bed support and cut 6 inches off of the top of the support. I still have just enough room for the slide machinery to work.

My under bed storage suffered a bit but the DW is much happier now that she don't have to 'jump' into bed with me...............I still have to work on that jumping thing with her....................
