2013 Knight - To buy or not to buy?
Hello,
My wife and I have been doing the RV thing now for 8 years, started with a 32' Rockwood Windjammer, then after 3 years moved up to a 43' Keystone Raptor Toy hauler. Since have sold the Raptor and now looking at Class A diesel pushers.
Have always bought used and now seriously looking at a 2013 Monaco Knight 36PFT. It's priced very well at just under $100k and just under 51k miles.
We had a NRVIA certified inspector give it a really good review and just some minor issues. Awning needs some manual help to go out. A couple outlets have open ground. One floor tile appears to be a little loose. Exterior is appropriate for its age. Some fading on the top of the cab but again nothing terrible. Fluids for have been pulled for Engine, Tranny and Generator and sent off for analysis. Tires Michelins dated 1918. House batteries might need to be replaced (weak). It's been sitting in storage for the past 6 months in central FL. 2 owner coach. First owner lived in TX.
My concern is more that when this was built in Feb of 2013, Navistar RV owned Monaco and shortly after that, the REV Group purchased Monaco. There are a couple REV Group Service Centers around the country. Is that where you would go for help with parts, or issues with the coach interior / exterior?
Many thanks, - Scott
