2012 - 2013 Monaco Knight - Would you recommend?

I've liked Monacos the past several years while "window shopping". I like the "new" style and the interior has impressed me. I'm now closer to making a purchase and would appreciate any thoughts you may have. 1) Would you purchase your Monaco again? 2) Knowing what has happened with Monaco, would you buy one now? 3) Would it be better purchasing a Tiffin or some other brand with "good" customer service? 4) Will there be hassles with warranty service? Thank you!

1 - We are very happy with ours and would most likely by it again.

2 - I would not let what's happened with Monaco stop me from buying. So
far ARG has gone beyond our expectations in honoring all warranties.
Navistar is honouring the Engine and has been great to deal with so far
with the few little issues we have had.

3 - I would look at others but would not steer away from the Monaco due
Customer Service (ARG has 2 factory repair facilities) and at the rally
in Pahrump they we're talking of opening another 2 in the South

4 - From my experience they will treat you as good and take care of you.

Should add that after all that has happened you should get a really good deal on the Knight right now

I too like the new look which is one of the reasons we bought ours. When we bought ours new in 2012 having the manufacture of the RV the same as the engine builder sounded like the perfect relationship, too bad it didn't last.

1) We have the 36PFT and are very happy with it and would most likely by it again.

2) I would not let what's happened with Monaco stop me from buying. ARG will honor all warranties. I haven't had any issues with Navistar.

3) I would look at other brands to see if there was something else I liked more. My first experience with Monaco Customer Service was poor and was caused by one person who was new. The two other contacts were good.

4) See #2.

As smitten as we are with how beautiful the Knights are, we now wonder if we are just plain wiser buying a few year old Monaco Dynasty or something. We don't have money to burn and need to do what we can to get as much bang for the buck as we can. We've looked at some used rigs that really turned me off to the idea. But I think we need to focus on higher end units. Today we looked at a 2009 Monaco. NO - it did not wow me like a new unit but it wasn't bad. 20,000 miles, clean, didn't feel dated, 400 hp Cummins engine. Maybe those basics are the better way to go until we figure things out - if that ever happens.

But damn, I really do like the Navistar Knights. So great inside and the outside - we love too. There are still new 2013's out there. The idea of having a brand new coach is very exciting.

Oh sH^t! I thought I had it figured out going used.

You could find a used 2012-2014 Knight, there are a few available. I just searched on RVTrader and found 10 units.
