5 button DuoTherm to MicroAir 357 thermostat issues

Hi - Just swapped out the old 5 button DuoTherm to a new Micro-Air 357 thermostat. Have everything working, however it seems like the front A/C constantly runs at medium or low fan speed. I have it set for Full Automatic fan. Never seems to cool things down except at night. On the old thermostat the A/C would come on full blast, cool everything down, and then shutoff. The rear A/C runs like expected. Comes on, cools everything down, and then shuts off. Also I noticed that the temps on the display are about 10 degrees higher than what they should be? Any idea what is happening and how to fix? I bought the RV 5 years ago so I have no idea the age or control boards that might be in the A/C units. Both A/C units are the low profile Penguin models. Thanks in advance. 2003 Monaco Knight.

Well, I have the original Duo-therm heat pumps and 5 button thermostat, and in 'Auto' mode, my fans usually always are on low speed!

I rarely ever use auto mode due to this!

I have not tried to prove this but the temperature differential could be that the Micro Air is using its internal thermostat. ?????

There is a setting on the thermostat that will allow you to do some sort of offset number. I have expereimented with that a bit.

As for the fans, mine come on full speed.
