There is a grind wire on the rear of the inverter. It was somehow disconnected. I just had some work done. But there it is. I hooked it up. Problem solved.
Thanks for the information. I learned a lot from you guys.
Rick.

Hooked up the ground. Same problem. I found this on my front AC circuit breaker.
Replaced all the breakers and problem fixed.
Any ideas what caused the hot side of a breaker to blow out? I'm thinking a strong power surge or lightening.
Thanks
Rick
Looks like overheating due to resistance. My guess would be bad connection somewhere in that particular circuit.

I agree. Except the other breakers are splitting in the rear also. See the pic. They are all starting to go. U changed them all and will keep an eye on them. They all weren't lose. I had to pull pretty hard to unsnap them. I'm thinking some large surge.
I had no odor or any idea this was happening. I think anyone with an older rig ought to check theirs. The front of the breaker looked fine and switched perfectly. Little did I know the back was blown out.
