500 ISM Air Filter
I have been looking online for a replacement air filter, my Monaco manual calls out for Donaldson P53744802 Air Filter, not sure what the difference is but all I am finding is P537448, I wonder what 02 stands for, anyone know what the difference is.?

I don't know, but I've done several cross reference searches for Donaldson filters, and when I bring the number to the local Napa, they will bring me the filter an the last 2 numbers wont be on there.

Why not contact and ask Donaldson?

Go to this link and see if its the same as yours on measurements, when you add the 02 Donaldson does nor recognize, i would bet that Monaco added the 02 to confuses as they woud tack a healthy up charge on parts.

IIRC I took pictures of the part # on my original (to me ) Air Filter on "My" 500ISM.
ECOlite # P-537448 / ecolite11 x 24 B1 / HS3105039D
ended up searching # " P537448 "
Then went to this site to double check fit for my application
https://www.donaldson.com/content/da...ht-07-2015.pdf
a little ditty from Donaldson on air filter procedures and replacement
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+...TF-8#kpvalbx=1
Happy Trails

That filter does not exist.
Either your manual has a misprint or you copied the number wrong. You should pull the old filter out and confirm the part number.

No, it's not an error. My OM gives the same number. So most probably Monaco added the 02 to charge us more. Mine was new when I bought the motorhome and I'll watch this thread to see which filter to order...
Tks

Okay.
I use the Donaldson P537448 in my '05 Beaver (525hp CAT)
It is a "reverse flow" filter - meaning the outside air enters at the center (end) of the filter and exits from the filter's side.
Is that the way your coach is plumbed?

These 'ECO' filters will work either way. Inlet air going in the end, or the side.
If you look at Harry's (Happycarz) pic's on this page ....
http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/quic...-17034-72.html
he reversed his, to eliminate kinked flex hose feeding air to the filter.
edit ; If anyone is considering doing this mod (like myself), obviously only do it with a brand new filter

Just checked with Napa Auto Parts and they said they drop the last two numbers, P537448 is what I need although there price is crazy, $237.00.
I did not remove my existing filter, coach is backed into storage shed and was hoping to order new one and move coach one time for install, found one online for $143.00 so I am going to order and hope for the best. Thanks for the help, will advise when I get new one how install goes, anything I should watch for when I remove old filter, looks like I will need to remove filter enclosure canister from coach?

I got mine from Amazon for $130 a month ago. I see the price is $143 now.
On my coach there is no filter "enclosure". The filter itself is the enclosure. I just had to remove the outlet and inlet hoses from the filter and release the spring-lock band that wraps around the filter and holds it to the mount.
I use a hose removal hook tool to pry the rubber hose connections loose and spray a little silicone on the rubber so they slide off and on easier.
It looks like this (but not sharp on the end).

The enclosure canister 'is' the filter, which is why the price is high.
Clean, clean, clean especialy around the outlet, where the rubber pipe enters the turbo, before you remove. While you have the filter off, use a damp, clean, lint free cloth, to wipe the inside of the turbo inlet pipe.

Same on our coach, folks at Filterbarn online mentioned it might be for Monaco’s tracking part numbers. Baldwin mentioned the same thing.

Just placed order, looking at my filter I thought the filter was in a housing especially when I saw the spring latches, (photo attached) after you guy's replies it now makes sense. CountryB-Does this look familiar.
