5500 cummins ger set

Any ideas on this question? This a 5500 generator in a 2005 Monaco Cayman. If the solenoid is jumped, gen will run, but will not do anything from switches inside or outside on unit. any thoughts anyone. If it was the solenoid, can it be replaced without removing the unit from the coach? This is a fixed unit, non slide.

If your generator is an Onan, above the outside start/stop switch, there a 10amp fuse in a black plastic pull out holder, check the fuse, if blown, replace then try to start.

Just to check I pulled the fuse out of mine and it wouldn't crank over.

Good luck and safe travels.
