Hello All,
Still have the Dynasty in storage and the batteries in the garage to prevent them from freezin here in the frigid North. I am planning on charging the 6 Volt batteries before placing them in the MH and I was wondering what voltage the fully charged batteries should read.
Thanks

Becks.....don't know your real name but if you can get 12.6v into a 6 volt battery as fossilhound (hope thats not his real name) let me know how we'll be partners. pay attention to this math quiz
In a wet cell battery (lead acid) as most are using there are 2.1 Volts per cell ....in a 6 volt they are 3 cells(count the caps) =6.3 volts for a 100% charge and a 12 volt there are 6 cells( again count the caps) = 12.6v for full charge Sorry for the sarcasm couldn't help myself today

Back on topic, a full charge for a 6v battery is 6.2v. A hydrometer should be used to measure the specific gravity and provides a great deal of accuracy of what the real charge is. In colder climates it is really important to keep batteries at full charge. A discharged battery will freeze way before a fully charged battery.

This is what a full charged battery should have on the hygrometer
