90 Degree Dump

I had the same problem as other owners regarding using a 90 deg. fitting out of the valve.

I cut a bigger hole in the basement floor and installed a larger Deck fitting. Bought from West Marine. Plenty of room now for the 90 and discharge hose.

Works great.

Keith,

Nice job, and a good idea.

I have a 2001 diplomat 38A

I thought I was the only one with the sewer line hook up problem. Great idea, I'll look in to it.

The center section between the two gate valves is suppose to rotate 360 degrees, it may be tight so take care when moving it. But if you do not wish to spin the center section for a better angle then making the hole bigger works fine.

I had the same issue but I couldn't get through the deck plate opening with a 90 or a straight connector until I installed a larger deck plate. Easy job, and I recommend using a latch type deck plate vs the threaded one as they are much easier to use.

Hi Drifter

Mine must have been changed from original. It is a solid pipe between the waste gates. It's an issue I will work on Shen I return home from this trip on November.
Thanks for the info
Rick

Mike,

It never ceases to amaze me how informative this website is. We own a 2006 Endeavor and I never realized until I read your post, then went out and checked, that the connection between the gate valves swiveled 360 degrees. Connecting the sewer hose is going to be much easier now.

Thanks,
Marty & Lorie

When we bought our Windsor last year I wanted to use the HydroFlush 90-degree fitting coming out of the sewer outlet, but it was too short. I took a couple of old fittings and made an extension so that the 90-degree downturn is directly over the hole in the floor. Works for me!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks Drifter. I didn't know the center rotated either. I went out and checked. Mine does. Life will be much better now.
