98 Diplomat with sporadic heater problem

Went camping this past week for first time since last fall. At night, the Lp gas portion of the Atwood heater wouldn’t click on. In the morning it would. All three nights it wouldn’t, and all three mornings it would. Luckily, didn’t get too cold at night, so no heater wasn’t a big deal; just annoying something not right. Any suggestions what is causing this? Sales switch? Nothing seems wrong with the fan. Nothing wrong with the Lp. Fuses are fine.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Did your stove work at night? Maybe your regulator is freezing up in the cooler nite temps?

Lows were low 40s. Yes, Lp worked at night - stove, frig, hot water - I checked.

I'd open it up and do a good cleaning. Check all connections are clean and no corrosion.
Maybe just a coincidence that it only worked in the morning.
