You may have a small 12 volt heater in the wet bay but that would be visible. In my case the heater is located on the left side of the wet bay. I have an unlabled switch up front above the passenger seat that turns the system on. There is a light next to it but it only comes on when the heater is actually working.
You furnace should provide heat to the basement. You should be able to look at the furnace and follow the ducting. In my case my furnace is under the refrigerator. It has ducting going to the front and back. One of the ducts goes to the basement wet bay area. The problem with this is that if you use a small electric heater to keep the coach warm the furnace won't run and the basement will get cold. I have camped in very cold weather and put a small cube heater in the basement to keep it warm.
