Probably the disconnect switch for House 12V. Can you post a picture?

It controls the 12 volt power for all the items on the terminal block. You should have the schematic on the door or inside. Common problem is losing ignition power from that solenoid which fails on numerous coaches. What issues are you having should be a Cole Hersey 85 amp solenoid.

My info is wrong as I reread the post and realized I referred to the front of the motorhome bay not the rear in the battery compartment.

Unfortunately, there are painfully few people on the Beaver Ambassador Club these days who have any experience with SMC-built Beavers from the late 90's through 2001. Most of the members own Monaco-Beavers that have many differences from those built by SMC.

I have a copy of drawings for that board that are labeled as 2002 which was early in the "Monaco Beaver" period. The drawings show two relays, the smaller of which is almost assuredly the one for the "salesman switch". Neither relay is labeled as to function. I guess it's possible that the larger one is the starter relay.

If you have house battery voltage on one side and chassis battery voltage on the other, its a boost and maybe a isolation solenoid as well.

After cleaning all batteries and having them checked out at interstate battery, i have now developed a no start situation, just cranks. They are hooked up the way they were, I took pictures before removing them. Im thinking a fuse issue or wiring but I am not finding any issues.

With a diesel, as opposed to a gasoline engine, a "no start" situation shouldn't
be electrical as long as the fuel pump is delivering fuel to the engine. In the rear compartment on the passenger side you have your fuel filters and there may be a clear plastic tube that is part of a pre-filter system. If there is one of those you ought to be able to see fuel flowing through it. There's probably an engine start push button in that compartment so you can crank and observe from there.

The "pre heat" light on the dash doesn't come on since the batteries were out. It's not that cold here today and she just cranks. Makes me think maybe the ecm isn't getting power. All fuses are good that I can find.
