Picture time, it appears the wires for the dump solenoids have been cut? White wires have butt connectors with a bit of black wire hanging out, see pictures. Personally I hate butt connectors. Has anyone seen anything like this? Hopefully pictures of the ac control boards will be next. From what EBay shows, you can either replace just the boards placing them in the original housings. Or boards in housings are available, probably just updated boards. It has been cool so thankfully no ac has been needed.

Had some time this morning, with my wife's help discovered the large solenoids works. Both of the large solenoids that dump the air have power and do cycle. Plus there are no blockages. Small solenoids do not have power. These appear to allow the air into the larger solenoids? Do they receiver power at higher air pressures? We are parked for another couple of months with everything set up. So running the engine to air it up isn't possible right now. Anyone have any thoughts?

AC update, just finished a phone call with William Hendrix. He provides a conversion from 4 button thermostat to 5 button, this includes new communication boards for both units. My coach apparently was updated, he said the front ac nor the furnace would work unless updated. Both do so an update was done. He was confused by the fact that doing a reset brought up FF, instead of EE which denotes a communication error. He stayed on the phone while resetting it twice. Apparently ready made communication cables can be purchased at HD. Instead of converting a phone cable, so that will be the next step. He is a very gracious man and I thank him for his help. His website is below.

I upgraded our 97 Windsor from the old 4 button to the newer 5 button thermostat. I replaced the front AC unit and it comes already with a 5 button control board. I purchased a new control board for the rear AC and then installed and programmed the 5 button Comfort Control thermostat.

Another option: The old 4 button thermostat is rebuildable. You can do a search on here and find the persons name. He does great work.

Update

Purchased a 25' phone cable did a temp. connection and it works fine. So apparently the cable is damaged. New cable will be routed through duct work as suggested. One thing that was talked about was replacing the connectors because phone cables are wired differently. To save time for people, you don't have to do this step. After working 32 years as a GM experimental tech. this did not sound right. Yes the wires may be reversed per the schematic, but remember a goes to a and b goes to b etc.. Signals don't care what color the wires are as long as the connector ends are the same. Hope this may help someone in the future. Now to just figure out the dump solenoids. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Routed phone cable through vent duct, worked great. So this problem is fixed, both AC's work great.
