99 Monaco Windsor chassis ??

40' And wondering how to search the exact chassis I have,

Not sure if there are any updates or recalls this late in the game, But looking to get info on it
I noticed that when i come to a slow stop and hit the brakes kinda hard, it makes a cluck.
So dont have to equipment to do this at home without taking it to truck repair, Maybe kingpins?
Anyone have a place where I can at least narrow?

Thanks in advance

There is a metal tag attached to the engine compartment front wall. Open the rear engine compartment and you should be able to see it. It will tell you the chassis.
You should be able to go to the NHSTB site and do a VIN search for any recalls.

There are bushing is the control arms you should be able to see if there is any play.
Another problem that is reported occasionally is the rear axle support welds will crack and allow for movement. This is very rare but something that I look for when I do my maintenance/lube/inspection.

Where do you live, someone could recommend a shop based on your location.

Here is a link to a 2000 Windsor Brochure, they didn't have the 1999 listed.

https://www.monacocoach.com/resource...38_brc_pdf.pdf

There were not many changes between the 1999 to 2000 models.

Do you know model number you have?
What engine do you have?

Here is a link to the bushing that is used in most Monaco's, you'll have to measure to confirm
https://www.atrobushing.com/product/MO10000

Not sure where to buy, I checked several places and they are not in stock.

We had a 98 Windsor, and the bushing were bad. Some had crumbled away, allowing the control arms to shift about two inches.

I replaced them. I think I still have a written procedure. PM if you are a DIY person and want a copy.

I wouldn't post pic of my VIN # too many scammers that may try to use it to scam someone else. I was asking people to a pic partially covering vin on coach or title with finger on Craigslist . Funny how many never responded back.

Go to the Files section above and do a search on Windsor. You will find the brochure for the 1999 Windsor which you can download. Hope this helps.

I sent you a private message. It should show up near the upper right where it lists your user name, last visit, and numbers of messages.
