99 Windsor Rad cooling fan operation question

ON my 99 windsor side radiator the fan runs all the time when engine is running. Looking at plumbing the hydralic fan there is a temp valve at top of radiator which as I understand it should control the fan operation based on rad temp. Any other 99 windsor owners out there that can comment on their side fan operation?

1. Cold condition. Does your fan run.
2. I cannot determine if the fan speed changes with higher rad temps..

thx James

Yes- my Hydraulic fan runs all the time the motor is running- Normal condition. It will speed up as the temp of the coolant goes up above 180º - the temp valve controls that allowing more hydraulic fluid to the fan motor to speed it up. Is your engine overheating? if not - don't worry about it. Everything is working as it should.
