A/C Quit Update

A few months ago I posted about how my 3rd A/C had suddenly stopped working. Many of you suggested that the AES was the culprit, and after many hours of checking, had to agree.
I then began the search for said AES. After many dry holes, finally found it tonight! Actually, there are 2. So now for the next step. I turned the breaker off for the 3rd a/c, checked voltage on both AES boxes, and found 120v +. If I had the breaker off, shouldn't at least one of the 6 lines going in (3 in each AES), show no voltage?

You've been trying to find that for quite some time. congratulations! But where was it?, and PLEASE post a picture of it.

I would invest in a wire tracer now. I've seen them for $20 on amazon and it should help you identify all the wires coming in.

I found it underneath the multiplex system under a false floor. I was actually using a wire tracer to find it. I ordered one AES a few days ago, but before I put everything back, I ordered the second one tonight. Don't want to have to go in there again anytime soon.
I'm still uncertain if these are the culprits, as all the lines still have power even with the breaker off.
