No way, it can't be that simple.
But it was, and very hard to see up high on the bottom of the A/C unit. While I was looking for a kink in the drain hose or some kind of blockage in the hose, what I found was a longer than necessary clear drain tubing that connects to the T fixture that connects to the drain hose. Because the drain tubing (not hose) was too long, it dipped vertically down creating a drain trap that defeated the siphon/drain to the T to go down the hose. Over the past 9 months, it's been to Buddy Gregg 3 times and they couldn't figure it out.
