I'd like something to divert the A/C runoff.. it seems to always pool on top of one of my toppers

Our Camelot continues to have more A/C water runoff than water coming down the front drain hose even after Buddy Gregg cleared the hose with compressed air on three separate occasions. They even added cork tape to the sweating pipes that added to the runoff. I suggested that the hose may not have the corner support it needs when it goes from horizontal to vertical, I assume around the area of the A pillar, but they didn't have time to check.

Any suggestions?

Your problem sounds like your condensate drain is running "UP-HILL", before it gets to the vertical down spout part of the drain.

Good Luck - Glenn

No way, it can't be that simple.

But it was, and very hard to see up high on the bottom of the A/C unit. While I was looking for a kink in the drain hose or some kind of blockage in the hose, what I found was a longer than necessary clear drain tubing that connects to the T fixture that connects to the drain hose. Because the drain tubing (not hose) was too long, it dipped vertically down creating a drain trap that defeated the siphon/drain to the T to go down the hose. Over the past 9 months, it's been to Buddy Gregg 3 times and they couldn't figure it out.

Thank you Glenn!!!

CC is now a VHC.
