A/C Wiring
We have a 2007 Signature series. The rear of the coach has been hot and called an A/C service tech. He found no power to the unit. Look for a breaker and the only one we could find was labeled washer/ rear A/C. The washer has power but not the A/C. Thinking the receptacle for the washer served as a junction box, but only one cable was run to the receptacle. Any ideas? Second owner of this coach and do not know if it has ever worked. Have a call in to Monaco to try and get wiring schematic. Thanks in advance for all the help. You guys solved our Aqua Hot issue like pros.

I'm a little surprised that the rear AC and WD are on the same circuit breaker. The ones that I have seen have both ACs on separate breakers that are supplied directly after the main AC breaker before the AC is distributed throughout the coach. Not being an expert or even all that smart, I would check at the AC breaker for power in the distribution box. The image is a functional diagram of a typical RV 115AC system. Hope this helps.

I don't have a Signature coach or even 3 Air cond but I have read of this problem
on the Yahoo group .
If I recall the Monaco's with 3 A/C have a relay back at the W/D that kills
the 3rd A/C when you wash .
Some have located this relay and disabled it
If you do that then you will need to remember to only use one at a time .

On my 2007 Dynasty, the rear A/C, cooktop and washer share the same 20a circuit. There are 2 load shedding moduals under the rear wardrobe that controls who gets the power. It's a pita sometimes, so I'll guess the PO disabled the rear A/C.

Rear closet floor passenger (curb) side. Unscrew it and underneath you will find an Automatic Energy Select Switch, Intellitec 00-00714-00 http://www.intellitec.com/assets/pdf...-00714-000.pdf It controls power to the washer and rear A/C. I replaced mine, some bypass it.
In your wiring diagrams page 141 "Schematic Power Management AE" or on Monacoers yahoo file under 2007 Signature wiring diagrams.

Looks like some good direction as always.

Quick thought. Do NOT disable it. As Ray said above, you would need to remember to never run both at the same time. But you will. And it will trip your breaker, and you'll have to deal with "troubleshooting" why your breaker is tripped. The 15 amp breaker can only run one at a time. They set it up the way they did, because the W/D is a short term thing, while the A/C may be an all day affair. So they cut out the A/C only when the demand is too great on both, but restore it the moment it is safe to do so. It is a very good design and minimizes the number of breakers in the panel.

Took a quick look last night, no time to empty the closest. There is an AquaHot register under the closet floor in that location. Will it be in same cavity as the register? Could heat have caused it to fail?

It is in the same cavity, I am sitting in the dentists office so not a good use of terminology
I have replaced several Intellitec modules throughout the coach, I doubt if heat is the problem but perhaps.

Right where you guys said it would be. Had corrosion on some screws I'm sure that's the problem. I'll order one tonight. Opening that little compartment, not cavity, LOL, was a bit of a pain. Think I'm going to take 1/4 inch off one side and tuck carpet down so it will be easier to remove.
Thanks again for all the help

Check the Five button control doc. Follow directions for resetting your thermostat. Always the first and easiest move with a/c glitches.
