A few questions

I'm looking at a 2004 Monaco Dynasty Countess with 70k miles. I test drove it and it's a dream. Especially compared to my gasser.

I climbed all over it inside and out and I found very little to complain about, besides a few cosmetic things. The paint and fiberglass look great. A little clearcoat peeling on the back of the roof but nothing that scares me.

Is there anything specific for this model that I need to be aware of? I haven't found much looking around.

Thanks!

Check to see if it is one of the coaches recalled by Monaco for the rear trailing arm crack. If so make sure the recall has been done. The cost of the recall is north of $3,000.00

It looks like that is for the r4r chassis only. This has the 10 air bag chassis, so I should be fine.

Check the underside of all the slide outs to make sure the plastic covering is not coming delaminated.

Check tire date at 7 years should be replaced. Check batteries for date at 5 years these should be replaced. In this year range the ISL motor had rist pin problems, a search online for dates and serial # will tell. It never hurts to have a independent RV teck to check all systems, a $300-$400 well spent item before purchase, this is really helpful on the higher end unit with SOOOO many sytems.

I looked. In very good condition. I didn't see any problems.

2 year old tires. I couldn't believe it!
I'm going to get fluid samples and I'll get it looked at. I've got a punch list already to go through.
