ABS control panel location?

We have a recently acquired 2001 Holiday Rambler Ambassador Model 38PBD. I am trying to locate the ABS control panel. My ABS light is on and I want to see if there are codes or a reset. I looked in the outside compartment under the drivers side window and in several other compartments, in the nose area, etc. Not sure exactly what it should look like, but I think I'd know it if I found it. Can anyone tell me exactly where I should look and possibly send a picture of it.
Thanks for any help

If it's a Workhorse W chassis - a regular code reader won't read it. The only reader I've found that will is what the dealers use, and are in the $2000 range.

I'm wrestling with the ABS issue with our '02 coach on a Workhorse W22 chassis and can give you some advice on what to look for.

Hi Banjojohn; I think your coach has this ABS control board. It is a ABS-RM1-KIB16614041. I have this on my 01 Windsor and on my previous 2001 Windsor. This board was used in Monaco coaches in the early 2000's on up. Not sure what year they stopped using it. I think about model year of 05. If you want to see what one looks like you could Bing or Google it. Also you can see a picture of the module by going to Visone RV Salvage. At the top of the page click on chassis parts and then go to chassis electrical. Scroll about 3/4 down the page and you can see the module. You can access codes from this module. Jim/ Jackwjames in this forum has posted many times the trouble code diagnostic sheet for problems with the ABS system. Sorry, I do not have it. If he reads this post I am sure he will put the info up. Hope this info helps. The module should be in that compartment under the drivers seat outside.

Here's a link to get a copy of the owners manual
https://www.holidayrambler.com/owners-manuals/

In most cases it usually explains how to recover fault codes but in your manual I could not find the information. If you have any information for the coach it might be in there.

It does mention a "Hydro Max Braking System" This is different then my system.

You might do a search for ABS code checking for a Hydro Max system.

Here's a link to a manual I found for your system (please confirm), it does explain the ABS system and how to retrieve codes. file:///C:/Users/JIMJ~1/AppData/Local/Temp/HydraulicBrakes.pdf

Here's a post I found on IRV2 https://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/hyd...em-100078.html

Here's a pic of the ABS Diagnostic Center test panel in the 12 Vdc electric compartment located under the driver's feet in my 2005 Monaco Knight. The square black test pushbutton is located at the top left under the mounting screw and the amber LED test light is located at the top center.

Thanks for the responses and pictures. I haven't had a chance to look yet, but I think I know where the control board is now.

As you work on your rig and figure out how to fix your problem, please post what you find and how you fixed it.
