ABS controller location - 2006 Patriot Thunder S/Series chassis

I meant to post this here but was on the Roadmaster forum and posted there first.

Coach is in the shop, it has been showing ABS/ATC lights when it rained, lately all the time. The valves are Wabco, but we can't locate the module. The wire from the Chassis DC fuse box runs into a large loom and disappears into the coach at the front of the box (in front of the drivers wheel).

Does anyone know if it is a Wabco controller, and if so, where to look? The tech did look in the roof of the bay where the transfer switch and levelling controls are located but didn't see it. I have noticed in looking at some manuals for Signatures and Executive models that Monaco used both Eaton and Bendix ABS systems.

There has been some corrosion from leaks in the front wiring box that they have cleaned up, but it doesn't seem related to the ABS wiring.

Hi Paul; On my 01 Windsor,34' the controller is right above the hot water tank. Since you have a larger/longer coach, have you looked in any of the other storage bay ceilings. On the Roadmaster Chassie that is where they are normally located. Mine is out in the open, but it might be behind a cover in the bay ceiling. I don't know if you have an ABS module in the outside run electrical box under the driver's side window. As mentioned, my ABS controller is mounted to the ceiling and my ABS module in in the electrical run bay up front. Since that electrical bay is not super watertight you get corrosion in there. I have read about modules having a ground problem sometimes from water intrusion, but not sure you have that module I speak of. Hope you hear from a Beaver owner who has your coach with some better answers. Hope some of this info helps.

I have 2006 Beaver Thunder Saratoga with the CAT C-13 and has disc brakes on front and drive axles. In my front electrical bay I have sctive shock control and AGS control, no braking system boxes. In my 1st front large bay I have my 150 gal fuel tank and Aquahot reservoir, and fuel filter. In my 2nd bay from the front I have an engine ECM with 2100 RPM label. Directly behind that I can see a blue box with a Bendix label on it, has several big bundles of wires plugged into it. This 2nd bay has the bay TV and 120V outllets and antenna leads, etc. 3rd bay has inverter and Alladin boxes and wiring. All of these bays have a black felt like cover on the ceiling that is velcroed in place, just peals down to access. Hope this helps.
