Ac accumulator location

Does anyone know of the AC accumulator/dryer location on a 06 Scepter 42dsq?

Look under the windshield in the front. To hide it underneath would make the A/C difficult to work on and it needs to be before the evaporator which is in you plenum that is most likely straddling the bulkhead in front of your feet.

On my 03 Windsor it is located above the rear axle , I know it sounds crazy
but yours may be there too .

Hi Rick; Like RamiDav mentioned, on both my Windsor's the dryer is attached to the frame forward of the engine. Located right above the Allison.

That's a new one, but should be easy to find since the refrigerant hose should pass through it.

Looking under ours (2004 Camelot) you can't tell an A/C line from a fuel line...lol. There is so much stuff wadded up there going front to back it's difficult to trace any one thing. That being said ours (Accumlator) is also near the transmission mounted up high near the subfloor. It's fairly small but noticeable if you know what you are looking for.

Only way I found mine was underneath doing some repairs and looked up and there it was. I was a mechanic once long ago and recognized what it was and thought to myself if I had to go looking for it I would have just posted on here asking someone where it was...lol.
