Actual length versus listed length??

Suppose to be a 1997, 38 foot Monaco dynasty, but in measuring for a building to put over it the coach is 40 feet from front to back of the fiberglass. Is that the way it is? All the paper work seems to indicate it is a 38 footer. Maybe that is the inside measurement? ?? Thanks

Accessories also make a difference like a hitch receiver, bike rack or ladder. In width it makes a difference if the steps, side mirrors and slides are extended. In height, what did you add to the roof and sides; ladder, vent covers, antennas, solar panels, toilet vents, etc.

Our 28DA is just over 29 feet. Same deal. When people ask me, I just say 30 feet.

Our "37ft" would actually need something closer to 39ft between the front and rear walls.

Hey, BTW, see you finally settled on a new coach. Congratulations!

I tell people running the parks it's anything from 32' to 35' depending on what their maximum is....

Yes, we settled on one. Thanks. I didn't include the mirror or the rear ladder in my measurements. But understand this is typical in that actual length is many time longer than the "model length".

I measured ours at 128', but need to recheck it I think (next time, before rather than after happy hour).

Mirrors to the end of the towing gear (folded up) is 41' for our "thirty eight" footer!

I just bought a windsor 34

I went out looking for a coach that is titled 34 that is by the book 34'10" I wanted to downsize from my 36 which was 37'10" so when I go to a park that has a 34' limit I don't have to dance around it. Some people laugh when I tell them I downsized.

Several years ago my brother ran into that problem (no pun intended). His '99 34' Windsor turned out to be 36 feet (crunch)
