Air cleaner for 2002 Monaco Windsor

I have a 2002 Monaco Windsor 40PST with the 350 ISC engine. I was quoted a price of $516 for the air cleaner. Wow, that seems pricey!!!! Any help on this will be appreciated.

That sounds high, even if it includes installation and a complete wax job! I suggest you contact the chassis maker to find out what filters fit your RV and then Google shopping to find it cheaper. Also, many truck parts suppliers, including NAPA probably carry the filter, check with them. If you can handle a screwdriver and a wrench it's not hard to DIY. Just keep everything clean and don't allow any dirt or dust to get into the intake.

I haven't checked it out, but someone told me a day or so ago that NAPA has the air filters for less than $150.

My Windsor and Panther filters were a bit over $100 shipped. Check your part number and cross to ecolite or Donaldson etc. Try Filterbarn.com, rydertruckparts.com, rvchassisparts.com et al.

Hello - I have a 2002 Windsor PKD and it uses the Donaldson Ecolite P537448. Measure the diameter of the can and diameter of the input/output tube to confirm the right part for you.

A few months ago the list was $193 and the jobber was $104. You should be somewhere in the middle.

I have a 8.3L 350 HP in my 2002 Windsor, I replaced the filter last year, I believe I paid ~$122 including shipping. I purchased a Fram Ca7230.

Here is a catalog:

http://www.parker.com/literature/Rac...010.pdf#page48

Most DP air filters are one of the Eco series that was developed by Farr. The global filter market has gobbled up so many old filter manufacturers that I don't know who Farr is anymore.

These filters are a disposable canister design and will flow on either direction. Figure out which one you need by inlet and outlet size and position of outlet. You could be able to cross to what's available in the market. Buy the cheapest one because they are exactly the same.

I just order a new air filter for the coach from the following place based out of Tuscon: Filter Products - equipment parts - Donaldson, Baldwin, Des-Case, Wilson, Ingersoll Rand - alternators, air & electrical starters, bag, engine & hydraulic filters, bearings

They had the best price around filter was $116 and $20 to ship it to my house.
