Air conditioning zone control

Ok, so we haven't used the air in a while.
We are on 30 amp service so I know only one air conditioner will work.
I have the rear on but just want the front on.
No matter which zone is flashing, just the rear is on.
It's the 5 button comfort control.
Suggestions?

I operate two air conditioners on 30a. Did it all day yesterday and today. If I forget to turn one off and key up the microwave, pop goes the breaker at the pedestal.

Not sure how your control works. Mine has a zone switch and a mode switch. Select the zone / set the mode. Then select the next zone / and set the mode.

Ok, we have the same control box I believe.
But just the rear uses 19 amps with the lights on.
So to work just zone one is it flashing or solid?

I don't have any lights - the panel cycles through displaying the zone number, then displays the modes (auto / fan high / fan low) in words.

The 19 amp seems high. To run both air conditioners I also set the battery charger so as to limit its power consumption.

Thank you for replying.
The lights I mean are the coach lights, water heater is on electric, fridge is running on electric.
I know the front works, just 2 weeks ago I had some new trim put in the bedroom and the tech switched it over to zone 2 to cool the back.
I just can't get the back to shut off and the front to come on.

Reboot the 5 button CCC.

Do you have an Intellitec EMS system that sheds loads while on 30 amp shore service?

Might shed load yourself - maybe use propane where you can ?

When you press the Zone button, does it change? The zone number you have selected will be steady, the other one flashing.

Yes, we have the ems system.
That's why I am not trying to run both.
The zone # being steady, that will help.
The manual only shows a 4 button.
The DW typically runs the air, but it's just our daughter and I this trip.
Thank you all for the help!

Is this your thermostat ?

I got this from my downloaded manual (which I highly suggest for all owners so they can do a Ctrl-F and search )

A. Fan speed Low.
B. Fan speed High.
C. Indicates Fan mode.
D. Fan speed Auto.
E. Indicates Cool mode.
F. Displays when temperature setting is adjusted.
G. Displays room temperature or temperature setting.
H. Indicates Off mode in selected zone.
I. Heat mode
J. Indicates Electric mode.
K. Indicates Gas (furnace) mode.
L. Indicates off mode in selected zone.
M. Identifies zone number

I have found I can't run two ACs, electric water heater, fridge on electric and the charger for lights on 30amp.

Ok, I know from past experience that on 3p amp, in our coach, 2 ac's are not a good plan.
What we have hear is failure to communicate.
The rear ac is working like a boss.
I would like to shut it off and turn on the front ac.
This does not seem possible at this point. Even with zone 1 in solid, not flashing, only the rear keeps wotking. Like a boss mind you.
I am working from a phone so cnt+5 isn't a good plan.
I thought after turning it off this morning I could then reset to front.
Soon as I turned on the box, the rear fan started followed by the cool air a minute later.
I know it works, I also know I am failing miserably at working it.

HAHA - that's it TMan beat it to death and paint it to match :0

sometimes things are just contrary- but sounds like you may be feeding only one side of the 50 AMP ? is that possible ? and that's the side the rear air is on...

In this heat 1 ac is not close for us !
at this point walmart sells fans good luck...

You probably dont have enough power to run both, so it's shedding the front AC.
Bring up zone 2, hit the mode button till it shows zone off. Wait for the fan to shut down, then hit zone button till it highlights zone one ( I dont know how many zones you have, I have 3), now hit mode till you get 'cool', and within a few minutes, your front should start. If you have the fan speed set to low, or high, the fan should fire up almost immediatley.
