Like what you did with the storage container! How did you secure the shelf? Looks like you have one under the pump also.

My Coach is a 2001 Dynasty 36'. Does anyone know if I can reach and remove the the Air Dryer from inside by lifting the bed and hatch? If the Air Dryer is where it has been said,( above the Transmission) once the air is dumped getting to it from under the Coach would be very difficult without a lift.

Remove the old air dryer and make sure that the o-ring comes off with it. You don't want any oil or grease in the system, so if you want to lube the o-ring, do so sparingly. Spin it back on like an oil filter and make it snug with your hands.

Expect the old one to be hard to spin of!

Use your manual air release valve to get all of the air out of the system, mine is right next to the air chuck for the air hose. Depending on where it is located, it is easy to change with a large strap wrench. I went to Lowes and bought a strap wrench kit, had 3 wrenches including a large one.

Hi Bob,

I made the hydraulic take support and added the floor to the otherside also. I saw the floor that Sacs TC put in and really liked it. He used a composite material which was a great idea and I just used hardwood and added resin because I had all of the materials. I used conduit clamps and bolted them to the floor and use a bungy coard to hold down the container. I keep the hydraulic oil, funnel and parts for the grease gun in the container. The container is lower that the fan as not to block the air flow to the condenser fan. I purchased a grease gun holder and mounted the grease gun to the floor for lubing the drive shaft on long trips. Don't have to worry about cleaning out the grease gun container anymore.

Sorry but you will have to go under the coach, I go under the coach all the time just take safety precautions.

Sorry but I just need to clarify, If I use the "dump Air" button next to my HWH control and my dash gage reads zero do I still need to open valve where my air chuck is located. The only reason I ask is that in the write up I read there was a picture of the valve in question and the author only had 1. I on the other hand have about 9, which one do I open, do I open all 9 ( maybe a bit lees I have to go count) Why do I have so many? Is it because I have air leveling? Sorry for the long post

Ok for what its worth Once again I love my beaver ( no pun intended) My filter came in the mail today and 15 minutes later I was done. The lacation of the unit was what made it really easy its right against the rear most wall of the engine bay. For the fist time I think Im all caught up, there is the keyless entry keypad that only works when its warm out I guess i could change that!
