Air dryer purge valve leaks

On my 2008 Diplomat the purge valve leaks air all the time when the engine is running. It gets a little less after it purges. Anyone rebuilt this valve? If so please post any info you have. Here is a picture it is leaking out of the black part on the bottom.

What brand air dryer? What model?

And, my "Plan A" if it hasn't been serviced in the last three years would be to replace it with a factory reman (i.e. the factory that made it, NOT "made to replace....".

With a factory reman not only the filter(s) but also heater and all valves are new.

Or you could remove the valve and clean it. It may just have gunk in it.
And make sure you are changing out the dryer filter.

Tim,
I took it apart and the rubber seat is hard and has a groove worn in it. I ordered a rebuild kit and will install it when it arrives. The hardest part is compressing the two O rings to get the snap ring back in place. I used a 1 1/8 deep well socket with a extension and a floor jack to compress the O rings and get the snap ring in place.

Very simple with some minor mechanical skills.
If your running a wabco 1200 this might help you out!
