Did it break at the fitting on the back of the gauge? Ours did, a couple of weeks ago. That fitting is available in stores that sell air fittings. It is a push-in connector, much like current PEX connectors and has a small, fine thread male that screws into the back of the gauge. Couple of dollars for the part. Very easy fix! Those fittings are largely plastic, and I learned that they get brittle with age and fail.
Ours, when it failed, did stop the coach from moving, as it depleted the air in that tank. Also, IVYKREWE is right. I would cut it off, right at the fitting on the back of the gauge, and then fold it back on itself and secure it with a cable tie. It worked for me, until I could get the new fitting the next day.
The one I purchased was made by Dixon. Here's a link to exactly what I purchased.
