Air leak in Park Brake Plunger

Hello
I've got a slow leak in the park brake assembly somewhere. It sounds like it is where the actuator (plunger) rod goes into the plastic assembly just under the left dash panel. I've already replaced the brake sensor about 6 months ago and I thought it might have loosened in that time, but I removed and replaced the sensor with new teflon tape and its stilll leaking. When I wiggle the plunger button the leak varies in intensity, but never completely stops. This slow leak is enough to completely air down the system over night. When the engine is running the pressure stays up so its possible to drive with the leak, but its annoying and not a good thing long term. I probably need to replace the plastic housing that has the 'o' rings in it. It doesn't look like it is reparable.

Anybody had this problem in a 2006 Monaco diplomat or similar?
Thanks

I had a similar problem a few years ago, I contacted Freightliner, got a part number, ordered and changed in campground. It is an easy job to change out the assemble. Be sure to bleed all air pressure before starting job.

Dont worry. The air pressure bleeds itself.

Air leak in Park Brake Plunger

Don't use Teflon tape on your air system...Or you may find a piece stuck in a valve.
I would use pipe sealer and keep it back from the leading threads.

Sounds like the o-ring around the plunger shaft is leaking. Order a new valve and replace it.
