Yes, behind the red wire. Right up against that tee. It could also (probably preferable ) be right at the compressor. Because of thread size, I placed it at this tee.

thats what I figured.

I don't think it will make any difference if it's there or by the compressor. I would have done the same as you.

Bill I will get a picture soon dealing with a bum knee now so I'm not to mobile. Pretty soon. Hope we can, I don't have any leaks, most fittings replaced and all new o rings where needed.

Ok here's the latest pictures, also the tank is full of air and pressurized. I bleed the tank with it in Auto, the compressor didn't come on, confirmed it used air from larger tanks.
Hopefully Jon and Bill I have the pictures you need to evaluate;

I just repaired my pump and a bunch of leaks. You think they would have put the compressors in a protected location instead of underneath and out in the open.

Agreed, they are in a bad area, all exposed.
Perry, in picture #2 it looks like the check valve is on the fitting on the left side of the picture.

The pressure switch should be left of (or in the main system) the check valve.

If it is plumbed the way I think it is, the pressure switch is only sensing that very short section of hose. The slightest dropbox pressure triggers it to run. May he why somebody disconnected it?

Can you check the compress and see if it runs at all?

Oh the compressor runs no issues, doesn't shut off? Why hot lead is disconnected.

Pressure switch is cheap. I would start there . I may even have one.
90 on 120 psi off.

Or....make sure there is pressure to the pressure switch and test with an ohm meter. With pressure it should be open at 120psi
