I too just park, deploy the slides and hit the auto button. I have yet to feel any bouncy movement inside and my weight is around 225. My wife is very sensitive to motion and has never said anything about it when I move around inside the coach. She did complain about one of our fifth wheels even with the stablizer jacks deployed. After auto leveling, the steps are just fine in relation to the ground and a lot safer than our triple steps on the fifth wheel.

YMMV

Jim, you've got me to thinking for sure! I don't want a windshield problem! I'm gonna call Monaco tech support tommorrow and see what they say. Thanks!

I'm sure they'll tell you it shouldn't do that. However, they aren't new anymore and only one time have I been to the shop and spent less than $500.

Found a leaky Mac valve today on my step cover. Would that cause the bags to deflate after leveling? Guess ill level up and measure the fender height and see if the bags deflate. It seems to get more bouncy after sitting for a few days.
Been parked for about 2 1/2 hours ago and already down to 50#. Is that unusual?

Jeff, I am usually parked for about 7+ days before I get down to the 50# range. Maybe Mike can weigh in on the mac valve deal but I don't think that would cause your air bags to deflate as there are some check valves in there somewhere.

Common sense sort of tells me that when I park and hit the auto level it with adjust the air pressure on each corner as needed to level the coach. The more air in left in the bags the more stable the coach will be. That simple. With jacks it may be a different thing.

I don't have an air operated step, so I'm no help with that. Barlow46 is probably right, although the leak should be addressed. Mine doesn't get bouncy for about 3 weeks. I seem to be blessed with a pretty tight system. There are check valves for sure. A tech dumped the rear tank to service the air dryer and the coach didn't move.

On edit I remember Mike saying after checking bags and connections that his valves were leaking. Take soapy water and spray bags, connections and lines back to the suspension valves to check for leaks.

Jeff, the answer in no. That step valve will not cause the bags to deflate. The bags are separated from the main air system by electrically operated air solenoids. That valve will drain the main tanks of air.

Okay. Good info. I remember reading Mike's post on the valve. I'll soap it all up. The Mac valve is $62 so I'll take it out and make sure it's not a line that's leaking. Hard to tell as it seems to be leaking from the top.
Mine is #4 below.

Thanks Mike! Will the leaky valve bleed both tanks? Are the brakes protected from the leaky valve?

I have also had a windscreen problem with the screen moving around in the frame.
I thought I had an airbag leak because the (now new) aux pump would run regularly.
I have since discovered that if I level manually the coach just sits happily for days losing no air and no requirement for the aux compressor.
The windscreen is very happy now and since I've resealed - no leaks.
The auto level seemed very active. Didn't level exactly - so I'm not auto leveling.
Maybe because it needs adjusting it gets confused and stresses the frame from time to time.
Next time Im parked for more than a couple of days I'll get to adjusting the system and see if it settles quickly otherwise I just can't use the auto level option.
Ps the (new and i assume under warrant) Aux pump failed after 1 month of use.
