Aladdin jr. System troubles

Need some help and new ideas!!!!!
Ok I have tried all that was sent to me from another site forum, to reset my Aladdin Jr. I have pulled
fuses, turned off the shut off battery switch and also cut out switch, all at
differant times ofcourse and unplugged the system at the box for a minute and
still nothing but xx's for the readings of the gauges, they will say what they
are-- example: trans temp. xxx and mpg xxx and so on but that is it, except the
temptures readings do come up!!!!! Just thought i would ask one more time if
anyone had any ideas. my cameras work fine!!!!! I also emailed the new monaco---here's there idea--i guess they charge there workers by the word--
"That means you lost commutation the control box if your gauges are working I would say that you have a bad interface module that would be under the dash "

Steve,

I do not have the Alladdin and do not know much about it. I do know that our coaches use something referred to as CAN bus to communicate between sensors and the computers. That makes me think that the folks at Monaco my be correct in their statement that you have lost communications (that is what I think they mean and not commutation). The most likely suspect is a loose connection. Unplug all the connectors in the system and then plug them back in. Sometimes that will correct problems like you have.

It sounds like the Aladdin has loss communication with the Engine Control Unit. The control unit is located behind the dash. You might try unplugging and reconnecting the the connector that goes between the ECU and the Aladdin.
