Aladdin system

I have a new to me 2005 Monaco Dipolmat and have a question concerning the Aladdin system. The question is what is it? I'm going over the electrical prints and they keep referencing the Aladdin system. My coach doesn't seem to have the system.

Was the Aladdin system an upgrade option when purchasing new? What system is in place of the Aladdin?

All this is new to me so any input would be appreciated.

The Aladdin system was installed in most of the high end coaches, i.e. Dynasty, Executive and Signature. It offers many details of the operation of your coach. I have two monitors, one on the dash and one in the main bedroom. Both offer the same information from the back up camera, the side cameras and the inside camera. It monitors all the rigs systems, speed, mileage, run time, and tank capacities, black, grey propane and fuel. From the bedroom, I can turn on all the side lamps and view anything happening outside the coach all from the comfort of my bed. The Aladdin system will have a screen that opens on your dash. If you don't have the build sheet for your coach, call Monaco and they can email one to you. You will need either your coach number or the last 6 digits of your VIN when you call..Dennis

The Aladdin system was an option on your coach. If you do not have it no big loss. The camera system was cool, but now I just look out the window like I do at home.

As a side note Silverleaf Electronics has an Aladdin replace version for anyone who wants to get theirs working. Not Cheap, but from what I have read it does work.

I have a 2007 Diplomat and it, (Aladdin Jr. system) came standard on my coach. It is located on the drivers side under the service panel on top of the dash. Lift the panel off and you should see a box with an Aladdin label on it. If not, like ArmyEOD stated Silverleaf electronics has a complete system avaliable.

glad to see this subject. have this unit built in to the dash with a multi touch control button on the console, which blinks red all the time? when coach was new it worked great.liked watching all the info except for fuel consumption.lol.

however the only thing that works now for some reason is the the three cameras. would appreciate any help that can be mustered up. thanks.
