Aladdin system

My coach a 2008 knight with alladin system and Voyager backup monitor
my monitor is acting up their is only a blurry image on all 4 channels. my dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty monitor and sent out for testing it tested good.. Now he says the alladin system is at fault and their is no repair available as Alladin is no longer available. I disagree with him as I believe that the Alladin system only provides an input to the monitor when manually selected from the channel input on the monitor, and if this input is removed and the monitor still does not function then the problem lies elsewhere.

Anyone out there with similar issue or input

You are absolutely correct, the Alladin has nothing to do with a blurry image from the cameras. The only tie between the Alladin and the monitor is a video coax cable. Sounds like your monitor has an issue. If you want to prove this, remove the input from the Alladin to the monitor, that will be the final proof. I added a separate monitor for my Alladin system so I can have it up all the time as well as my cameras. If you follow this link, here is a mod that Rob Morgan did that is very similar to mine. Diplomat Mods

Good luck with the issue.

Dennis
