Aladdin System
The Aladdin system in my 2007 Camelot would not operate after being in for non related repairs (Brakes, A/C compressor, and Parking Brake air leak).
The Aladdin user's guide talks about a Reset Switch in the event of a system "lock up". I have been unable to locate that Reset switch.
Anyone know where it might be located?
P.S The repair shop let all the batteries run down.

On my Coach, the Aladdin reset switch is in the cabinet above the drivers seat, left side. But I don't have a Camelot.
When you move the joystick do you see the red light on the joystick faceplate flicker?

I don't know if my replies are of any help since my Coach is a different brand - but this is what my reset switch looks like.

My Aladdin kept turning itself on. In another thread someone said it could only be a joystick problem. Well I wish I could remember who to give thanks to. I pulled the drivers stick out, installed the kitchen one in It's place and so far all is well. So if your reading this, thankyou.

On my 2008 Camelot, its a left/right toggle switch. Next to an analyzer plugin. I just turned it off, waited a couple of minutes, turned it back on and everything was fine.

OK.... This is interesting...I have a 2007 Camelot and My Aladdin system hasn't worked since I purchased it back in March 2020.... I just figured that it doesn't work...And now I read there is a reset switch. What does this switch look like? I will have to look for this switch tomorrow morning.

Apparently they are everywhere. Mines in the entertainment cabinet above the passenger seat where the DVD player and tv tuner is

I have not found my reset switch yet even with all the help from others. Is it hardwired into the main Aladdin unit ?? Maybe I could trace the wires if so

The Aladdin troubleshooting manual state the power for the Aladdin comes through the Reset switch - and that it is powered from a fuse (my Coach doesn't have fuses) in the front Run bay.
But it doesn't say where the Reset switch is located.
You could start by confirming you have 12V power to the Video Coach System Monitor unit (the brains). There is a plug (as shown in the drawing) that should have 12V power to it.
